It looked like pine tar, everyone knows it was pine tar, if Tony Larussa wasn't smart enough to point it out in the middle of the inning then shame on him. He gave the Tigers enough time to realize there was to much on Kenny's hand and they were able to clean it up. Sorry about your luck St. Louis! The fact that ESPN and other "credible" sports web sites will continue to focus on this into Rogers next start, the World Series clinching game for the Tigers, game six, is not fair to Rogers, the Tigers, or St. Louis for that matter who have all accomplished so much this season to have this event take center stage is typical of sports reporting these days!
